What SULTRAFIED verification can confirm, what it cannot confirm, and why a verification badge must never be treated as a guarantee of another Member’s character, behaviour, intentions or personal safety.
Purpose of this Disclaimer
1.1 This Verification & Background Check Disclaimer explains the scope and limitations of Member verification carried out or facilitated through SULTRAFIED.
1.2 It applies to verification badges, identity checks, age checks, selfie checks, liveness checks, Couple Verification, Creator Verification and other verification processes made available by SULTRAFIED.
1.3 This Disclaimer operates alongside the SULTRAFIED Terms & Conditions, Age Assurance Statement, Couple / Shared Profile Terms, Creator Terms, Privacy Policy, Safer Meeting guidance and other applicable policies.
1.4 Verification is intended to reduce certain forms of identity, age and Account misuse. It cannot eliminate every risk associated with interacting with another person.
What SULTRAFIED verification may establish
2.1 Depending on the Account, feature, country and verification process, SULTRAFIED may carry out or facilitate one or more checks.
Determines whether the applicable age assurance process indicates that the person satisfies the required adult threshold.
May compare information supplied by the Member against an accepted identity document or identity service.
May assess whether the person completing the check appears to correspond with submitted verification material.
May be used to reduce the risk of photographs, recordings or other material being used in place of a real person.
Couple Verification may establish that both separately verified adults participated in a joint verification process.
Additional identity, payment, tax or performer checks may be required for monetisation.
2.2 The exact scope of a verification process is the scope communicated for that particular check.
2.3 Members must not assume that a verification process checked information that SULTRAFIED did not state was being checked.
A verification badge has a limited meaning
3.1 A SULTRAFIED verification badge means only that the applicable verification process was successfully completed or satisfied at the relevant time.
3.2 A badge does not mean that SULTRAFIED knows everything about that Member.
3.3 Unless expressly stated otherwise, a verification badge does not represent:
Members must continue to exercise their own judgement and follow appropriate safety precautions.
SULTRAFIED does not routinely conduct comprehensive background checks
4.1 Unless SULTRAFIED expressly states otherwise for a particular service, Member or verification programme, SULTRAFIED does not routinely conduct comprehensive background investigations on Members.
4.2 In particular, unless expressly stated otherwise, SULTRAFIED does not routinely search or independently verify:
4.3 Availability, accessibility and legality of background information also varies substantially between countries.
4.4 SULTRAFIED may introduce additional checks for particular roles, features, jurisdictions or risk situations, but such checks apply only where SULTRAFIED expressly identifies them.
Verification does not establish character or future behaviour
5.1 An identity or age check cannot determine whether a person is honest, respectful, compatible, safe or suitable to meet.
5.2 Verification does not establish whether a Member:
5.3 SULTRAFIED does not provide personal character references for Members merely because verification has been completed.
Not every profile statement is independently verified
6.1 Members may provide profile information that is not independently verified by SULTRAFIED.
6.2 Depending on the feature, this may include statements concerning:
6.3 The presence of such information on a verified profile does not mean SULTRAFIED independently confirmed that particular statement.
6.4 Members remain responsible for information they submit and must not knowingly provide materially false or misleading information.
Age and identity checks confirm only their intended purpose
7.1 An age-assurance check is intended to establish whether the applicable adult-age requirement is satisfied.
7.2 An identity check is intended to establish specified identity information according to the verification method used.
7.3 Neither process should be interpreted as a broader investigation into the person’s life, history or conduct.
7.4 Passing an age or identity check does not mean SULTRAFIED certifies that the Member is:
Couple Verification does not guarantee the relationship
8.1 Each adult represented by a Couple Profile must complete the applicable individual verification requirements.
8.2 SULTRAFIED may additionally require joint Couple Verification.
8.3 Successful Couple Verification may establish that the two adults participated in the required verification process together at that time.
8.4 It does not guarantee:
8.5 Couple Members must comply with the separate SULTRAFIED Couple / Shared Profile Terms.
Creator approval is not a personal endorsement
9.1 SULTRAFIED may require additional verification before a Member is permitted to use Creator monetisation functionality.
9.2 Such checks may concern identity, age, payment eligibility, performer information, tax information or other Creator requirements.
9.3 Creator approval does not amount to:
9.4 Creators remain responsible for the warranties and obligations contained in the SULTRAFIED Creator Terms.
Verification technology cannot provide an absolute guarantee
10.1 SULTRAFIED uses or may use verification measures designed to reduce identity, age and Account fraud.
10.2 No verification process can guarantee that fraud, forgery, impersonation, stolen identity information, sophisticated manipulation or technical error will never occur.
10.3 Verification systems may occasionally produce:
10.4 SULTRAFIED may use additional checks or manual review where reasonably necessary.
10.5 Successful verification at one point in time cannot guarantee that the Account will never later be compromised, transferred, shared or misused.
SULTRAFIED may require verification again
11.1 Previous successful verification does not create a permanent right to avoid future verification.
11.2 SULTRAFIED may require reverification where reasonably necessary because of:
11.3 Relevant functionality may be temporarily restricted while required reverification remains incomplete.
Verification may involve independent providers
12.1 SULTRAFIED may use specialist identity, age-assurance, payment, fraud-prevention or other verification providers.
12.2 Those providers may process information necessary to perform the relevant check in accordance with the applicable privacy arrangements.
12.3 SULTRAFIED may receive a verification result, confidence outcome, status or other information needed to administer the Account.
12.4 Use of an independent provider does not expand the meaning of the verification beyond the particular check performed.
Members remain responsible for their personal safety decisions
13.1 Members must not rely exclusively on a verification badge when deciding whether to communicate with, meet, travel with, enter the home of or engage in sexual activity with another person.
13.2 Verification is one risk-reduction measure only.
13.3 Members should use reasonable precautions including:
13.4 A Member’s decision to meet another person remains a personal decision that should be made using appropriate judgement and precautions.
Verification is not sexual-health verification
14.1 Unless SULTRAFIED expressly states otherwise for a specific feature, Member verification does not include medical testing or independent verification of sexual health.
14.2 A verified Member badge must not be interpreted as evidence that a person:
14.3 Members remain responsible for making informed health decisions and communicating appropriately with partners.
Report suspected impersonation or verification fraud
15.1 Members should report credible concerns that another person:
15.2 Reports should be made in good faith.
15.3 Knowingly making false verification or safety reports against another Member may itself constitute misuse of SULTRAFIED.
SULTRAFIED may investigate verification concerns
16.1 SULTRAFIED may review an Account where there is a reasonable identity, age, fraud, safety or verification concern.
16.2 During an investigation, SULTRAFIED may:
16.3 Precautionary restrictions may be imposed before an investigation is complete where delay would create a material safety, age, identity or fraud risk.
16.4 Temporary action does not automatically mean that SULTRAFIED has made a final finding of wrongdoing.
SULTRAFIED may remove or change verification status
17.1 Verification status may be suspended, removed or changed where the underlying verification is no longer considered sufficiently reliable or applicable.
17.2 Reasons may include:
17.3 Removal of a badge does not necessarily constitute a finding that the Member committed criminal or other unlawful conduct.
Verification does not transfer Member risk to SULTRAFIED
18.1 Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes or restricts liability that applicable law does not permit SULTRAFIED to exclude or restrict.
18.2 Subject to applicable law, SULTRAFIED is not responsible merely because a verified Member later:
18.3 SULTRAFIED does not warrant that verification systems will detect every instance of impersonation, falsification, criminal history, unsafe behaviour or Account misuse.
18.4 Members must not treat a verification badge as an assumption of responsibility by SULTRAFIED for the Member’s future conduct.
18.5 Where SULTRAFIED itself breaches a legal duty and is responsible for loss, liability will be determined in accordance with applicable law and any lawful liability provisions contained in the SULTRAFIED Terms & Conditions.
Members must make their own decisions
19.1 Members are responsible for deciding whether they wish to communicate with or meet another person.
19.2 You should not ignore warning signs merely because a Member is verified.
19.3 If another person’s behaviour, messages, identity, appearance or circumstances cause concern, do not proceed merely because a badge appears on their profile.
19.4 Members should leave or avoid any situation in which they feel unsafe.
19.5 A verification badge is an informational Platform feature and not a substitute for reasonable personal precautions.
Report verification or identity concerns
Contact SULTRAFIED if you believe a verification is false, an Account is being impersonated, a Member may be under 18 or your own verification has been compromised.
Verified does not mean guaranteed safe. Continue to use your own judgement.
