IMPORTANT PRIVACY LIMITATION

No digital platform can guarantee that shared Content can never be copied.

SULTRAFIED may use access restrictions, one-time-view controls, watermarking, disabled downloads and other technologies designed to reduce unauthorised access or copying. These measures are protective controls — not a guarantee that a determined recipient cannot retain, photograph, record or reproduce Content.

Read Disclaimer

Purpose of this Disclaimer

1.1 This Privacy / Anti-Copy Technology Disclaimer explains the purpose and limitations of privacy, visibility and Content-protection features made available through SULTRAFIED.

1.2 It applies to photographs, videos, messages, private galleries, Friends-only Content, one-time-view media, Creator Content and other material communicated through SULTRAFIED.

1.3 It operates alongside the SULTRAFIED Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Member Content Licence, Creator Terms, Couple / Shared Profile Terms and other applicable SULTRAFIED policies.

1.4 SULTRAFIED may provide technical controls intended to reduce inappropriate access, downloading, copying or redistribution. No such control should be understood as making digital reproduction physically or technically impossible.

Privacy and Content-protection features

2.1 Depending on the relevant Account, device, feature and Content type, SULTRAFIED may provide controls including:

VISIBILITY Member access settings

Public, Member, Friends-only, private or other permitted visibility settings.

PRIVATE GALLERY Restricted access

Access may be granted only to Members selected or approved by the Content owner.

ONE-TIME VIEW Limited Platform viewing

Media may be configured so normal Platform access is available for one permitted viewing.

WATERMARKING Identification / deterrence

SULTRAFIED branding or other information may be applied to Content.

DOWNLOAD CONTROL Normal download restriction

Standard download functionality may be disabled for certain Content.

BLOCKING Future Platform restriction

Members may restrict Platform interaction through available blocking functionality.

2.2 Availability and technical operation of individual controls may vary according to browser, operating system, application, device and future Platform development.

Visibility settings control authorised Platform access

3.1 SULTRAFIED may allow a Member to choose the intended audience for particular Content.

3.2 Examples may include:

PUBLIC Permitted public visibility
MEMBERS Eligible SULTRAFIED Members
FRIENDS Friends-only
PRIVATE Specifically authorised Members

3.3 A visibility setting defines who SULTRAFIED is intended to permit to access the Content through the ordinary Platform functionality.

3.4 It does not create a guarantee that an authorised viewer will never misuse, copy, photograph or redistribute the Content outside SULTRAFIED.

IMPORTANT “Private” means access is restricted through SULTRAFIED. It does not mean that digital copying is technically impossible.

Private Gallery access

4.1 Private Gallery functionality is intended to allow Members to restrict ordinary access to selected Content.

4.2 Granting another Member access means that person is authorised to view the relevant Content through SULTRAFIED subject to the applicable rules.

4.3 Private Gallery access does not grant the recipient permission to:

publish the Content elsewhere;
send it to another person;
upload it to another website;
sell the Content;
use it for impersonation;
use it for harassment or blackmail;
create derivative intimate Content without authority; or
otherwise exceed the permission granted.

4.4 Nevertheless, SULTRAFIED cannot guarantee that a recipient will obey those restrictions.

4.5 Members should therefore make careful decisions about who they permit to view sensitive or intimate Content.

What “one-time view” means

5.1 One-time-view functionality is intended to limit ordinary access through SULTRAFIED after the relevant viewing condition has been satisfied.

5.2 It does not mean that SULTRAFIED can guarantee the recipient did not retain the Content during the permitted viewing.

5.3 A recipient may potentially attempt to retain Content by means outside the ordinary SULTRAFIED viewing process, including:

SCREENSHOT Device capture
SCREEN RECORDING Video capture
SECOND DEVICE Camera photograph
BROWSER / DEVICE Technical workaround

5.4 SULTRAFIED may attempt to restrict some forms of capture where technically supported, but cannot guarantee that every device or method of external capture can be prevented.

1
ONE-TIME VIEW One-time view controls repeated ordinary access — it does not guarantee one-time existence.

A person with access to a screen may still be capable of making an external copy.

Screenshots, recordings and external cameras

6.1 SULTRAFIED cannot guarantee that screenshots or screen recordings can be prevented on every browser, device or operating system.

6.2 Even where a device or application blocks normal screenshot functionality, another camera, phone or recording device may be used to photograph the screen.

6.3 Browser tools, accessibility tools, operating-system functions and other technologies may also change over time.

6.4 SULTRAFIED therefore makes no representation that digital Content can be rendered incapable of external reproduction once it has legitimately appeared on another person’s screen.

6.5 This technical limitation does not give Members permission to capture or redistribute Content contrary to SULTRAFIED rules, the Content owner’s permission or applicable law.

Watermarks do not prevent copying

7.1 SULTRAFIED may apply visible or technical watermarking to photographs, videos or other Content.

7.2 Watermarking may be used to identify SULTRAFIED Content, discourage casual copying, assist investigation or make unauthorised redistribution less attractive.

7.3 A watermark is not a guarantee that Content cannot be:

copied;
cropped;
edited;
photographed;
screen-recorded;
obscured;
re-encoded; or
redistributed.

7.4 Deliberately removing, obscuring or defeating a SULTRAFIED watermark for unauthorised redistribution may constitute serious misuse of the Service.

Download restrictions are not absolute copy protection

8.1 SULTRAFIED may remove or disable ordinary buttons, menus or functions that would otherwise allow a Member to download particular Content.

8.2 SULTRAFIED may also attempt to restrict:

right-click downloading;
ordinary save-image commands;
direct download buttons;
printing through normal Platform controls;
simple media export; or
other ordinary copying methods.

8.3 Disabling these ordinary functions does not make the Content impossible to capture by other technical or physical methods.

8.4 SULTRAFIED does not describe such controls as unbreakable digital-rights management.

Content sent directly to another Member

9.1 Private messages and private media are intended for the recipients authorised through the applicable SULTRAFIED functionality.

9.2 Sending Content privately does not transfer copyright ownership or grant a general right to publish or redistribute it.

9.3 Where one-time-view or restricted-message media is used, the technical limitations explained in this Disclaimer continue to apply.

9.4 SULTRAFIED cannot guarantee that a recipient will not independently retain, reproduce or disclose a message or media item contrary to the rules.

Blocking does not retrieve copies previously retained

10.1 SULTRAFIED blocking functionality is designed to restrict future visibility and interaction through the Platform according to the applicable blocking rules.

10.2 Blocking another Member does not guarantee deletion of material that person lawfully or unlawfully retained before the block took effect.

10.3 A block cannot physically retrieve:

screenshots already taken;
screen recordings already made;
photographs taken with another device;
copies saved outside SULTRAFIED;
messages previously copied elsewhere; or
other externally retained material.

10.4 Continuing to use or redistribute Content without authority after a block may constitute a breach of SULTRAFIED rules and potentially applicable law.

Deleting Content cannot recall every external copy

11.1 A Member may delete or request removal of Content subject to applicable SULTRAFIED functionality, contracts, retention requirements and law.

11.2 Removal from ordinary SULTRAFIED access does not mean that SULTRAFIED can delete copies independently held by another person outside the Service.

11.3 SULTRAFIED cannot remotely erase Content from an unrelated person’s:

phone;
computer;
camera;
cloud storage;
external drive;
messaging application;
social-media account; or
other system outside SULTRAFIED’s control.

11.4 This limitation does not legitimise the recipient’s continued use of a copy where that use is prohibited by contract, consent, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights or law.

Caches, backups and technical processing

12.1 Operation of an online service may require temporary, cached, transcoded, backup, security or other technical copies of Member Content.

12.2 Such technical processing is governed by the SULTRAFIED Member Content Licence, Privacy Policy and applicable law.

12.3 Removal from ordinary Member-facing access may occur before all permitted technical copies have completed their applicable deletion or retention cycle.

12.4 SULTRAFIED may also retain restricted evidence where legally justified for complaints, fraud prevention, safeguarding, enforcement, legal claims, regulatory obligations or law-enforcement cooperation.

Devices, browsers and networks create additional risks

13.1 Content accessed through SULTRAFIED may pass through or appear on systems that SULTRAFIED does not own or control.

13.2 These may include a Member’s:

mobile device;
computer;
web browser;
operating system;
internet connection;
screen-casting system;
accessibility software; or
third-party device services.

13.3 SULTRAFIED cannot guarantee the security or behaviour of every Member-controlled device, browser or external network.

Technical ability does not equal permission

14.1 The fact that a Member is technically capable of capturing, copying or saving Content does not mean they are authorised to do so.

14.2 Members must not, without sufficient authority:

copy private intimate Content;
screen-record private Content;
publish another Member’s private Content;
send private Content to third parties;
upload it to another website;
sell or commercially exploit it;
remove watermarks to disguise its origin;
use Content for harassment;
use Content for blackmail or coercion;
use Content for impersonation;
create unlawful manipulated intimate Content; or
circumvent access restrictions for unauthorised purposes.

14.3 Serious misuse may result in Content removal, suspension, permanent termination, preservation of evidence or other proportionate action.

Extra care with nude, sexual and intimate Content

15.1 Nude, sexual and intimate Content may create particularly serious privacy, safety and reputational risks if misused.

15.2 Members must have sufficient authority and consent to upload or distribute intimate Content involving another identifiable person.

15.3 Permission to receive or privately view intimate Content does not automatically include permission to publish, forward, sell or redistribute it.

15.4 Where SULTRAFIED receives a credible report of non-consensual or otherwise unlawful intimate-Content distribution, SULTRAFIED may restrict access while reviewing the report.

PRIVATE MEANS PRIVATE Access to another Member’s intimate Content is not permission to redistribute it.

Report suspected copying or redistribution

16.1 Members should report credible concerns that SULTRAFIED Content has been copied or redistributed without authority.

16.2 A report should identify, where reasonably possible:

the affected Content;
the relevant SULTRAFIED Account;
the suspected recipient;
where the Content appeared;
when the issue was discovered; and
supporting evidence that can safely be supplied.

16.3 Members should not unnecessarily redistribute the intimate Content themselves when attempting to report an incident.

16.4 SULTRAFIED may request further information or verification before taking action.

SULTRAFIED may preserve restricted copies when necessary

17.1 Content removed from ordinary Member visibility may, where legally justified, be preserved in restricted form.

17.2 Preservation may be reasonably necessary for:

Member complaints;
safeguarding;
fraud investigations;
Account enforcement;
legal claims;
regulatory obligations;
law-enforcement requests; or
other lawful evidential purposes.

17.3 Such preservation does not mean the Content remains available to ordinary Members.

17.4 Access should be limited according to applicable SULTRAFIED security, retention and privacy controls.

SULTRAFIED security responsibilities

18.1 SULTRAFIED aims to implement appropriate technical and organisational measures for the nature and risk of the personal information and Content it processes.

18.2 Security measures may include appropriate controls concerning:

ACCESS Access control
TRANSMISSION Secure communications
STORAGE Protected systems
MONITORING Security detection
RESPONSE Incident management
ACCESSIBILITY Need-to-know controls

18.3 Appropriate security does not mean that SULTRAFIED promises that unauthorised access, cyberattack, technical failure or Member misuse can never occur.

18.4 Nothing in this Disclaimer reduces SULTRAFIED’s obligations under applicable data-protection or information-security law.

IMPORTANT DISTINCTION SULTRAFIED can take reasonable measures to protect Platform systems. It cannot control every action taken by a Member after Content has legitimately appeared on that Member’s own device.

Technical providers and infrastructure

19.1 SULTRAFIED may use hosting, storage, content-delivery, security, moderation, processing and other technology providers as part of operating the Service.

19.2 Personal information handled through such providers is governed by applicable contractual, security and data-protection arrangements.

19.3 Use of a third-party technology provider does not change a Member’s obligation not to misuse another person’s Content.

Privacy and anti-copy technology may change

20.1 SULTRAFIED may improve, modify, replace or discontinue individual privacy or Content-protection technologies where reasonably necessary.

20.2 Changes may be required because of:

browser changes;
operating-system changes;
security developments;
new circumvention methods;
legal requirements;
vendor changes;
Platform redesign; or
new privacy-enhancing technologies.

20.3 SULTRAFIED does not guarantee permanent availability of a specific technical mechanism where another lawful or appropriate measure is substituted.

Anti-copy controls do not transfer another Member’s misconduct to SULTRAFIED

21.1 Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes or limits liability that applicable law does not permit SULTRAFIED to exclude or limit.

21.2 SULTRAFIED does not warrant that privacy or anti-copy technology will prevent every form of:

screenshot;
screen recording;
external photography;
unauthorised copying;
Member redistribution;
watermark removal;
device-level capture;
Account compromise;
technical circumvention; or
unlawful third-party conduct.

21.3 Subject to applicable law, SULTRAFIED is not responsible merely because another Member independently captures, retains or redistributes Content contrary to these Terms, where that conduct was not caused by SULTRAFIED’s breach of a legal duty.

21.4 SULTRAFIED does not guarantee that removing Content from the Service will retrieve or destroy copies already retained outside systems controlled by SULTRAFIED.

21.5 Members should understand that providing another person with access to sensitive digital Content necessarily creates some residual risk of retention or misuse despite technical controls.

21.6 Where SULTRAFIED itself fails to comply with a non-excludable legal duty and is legally responsible for resulting loss, responsibility will be determined under applicable law and any lawful liability provisions contained in the SULTRAFIED Terms & Conditions.

THE KEY RULE Restricted access is not the same as guaranteed impossibility of copying.

SULTRAFIED provides privacy controls designed to reduce risk. Members must not rely on those controls as an absolute guarantee that another person cannot retain Content.

Report unauthorised copying or distribution

Contact SULTRAFIED if you believe your private or intimate Content is being copied, redistributed or otherwise misused through the Service.

Do not unnecessarily attach or forward intimate Content in ordinary email when reporting a concern. SULTRAFIED may provide appropriate instructions where evidence is required.
